inp.polri.go.id – Semarang. The Central Java Police (Polda Jateng) deployed hundreds of personnel from the Directorate for Security of Vital Objects (Dit Pam Obvit) on Tuesday (3/5) tomorrow. This is because it is predicted that many citizens will visit various recreational places to spend their Eid holiday. Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Jateng M. Iqbal Al-Qudussy said that his party had predicted that tomorrow, Tuesday (3/5), there would be a spike of visitors in various strategic areas. This is because many travelers want to spend the Eid holiday in Central Java, other than gathering with their family in their hometown. "The predicted places crowded with people are in tourist attractions, shopping centers, gift centers, places to eat, etc. Tourist attractions that are expected to be crowded with visitors are Tawangmangu, Barutaden, Guci, Kopeng, Borobudur, beach tourism and others," explained Kabid Humas Polda Jateng, at Polda Jateng Headquarters, Monday (2/5) night "Polda Jateng will deployed 100 Pam Obvit members to various areas in Central Java. This number will of course be supported by the police personnel. Police personnel are involved according to necessity of the area," he add. The personnel, will have various tasks, including coordination with site managers and related institutions, mapping the vulnerability of an area, dialogical patrols, educational patrols, enforcement of health protocols, securing tourist sites and visitors, checking visitor capacity, and others. "In addition, the police will provide a booster vaccination program. Those who have not been vaccinated, can go to us. In this way, we are optimistic that this year's Eid holiday is safe and well," he hoped. With the deployment of this personnel, he hopes that tourists can be safe and comply with health protocols, so there will be no transmission of COVID-19, and no crime will occur. "We urge the tourists to keep their belongings properly so they don't provoke criminals. In addition, follow the health protocols," he said.
