Charta Politica Survey: National Police is the Best Performing Legal Institution

inp.polri.gp.id - The Indonesian Charta Politica Survey Institute released a survey on the best performing legal institutions. As a result, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) ranks first, followed by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the Constitutional Court (MK), the Attorney General's Office and the Supreme Court (MA). This survey was conducted from 29 November to 6 December 2021 with 1,200 respondents aged 17 years and over or meeting the eligibility requirements. The survey using the face-to-face interview method has a margin of error of +-2.83 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent. Based on the survey results, the respondent selected National Police as the law enforcement agency with the best performance with 26.7 percent, followed by the Corruption Eradication Commission 25.6 percent. Furthermore, the Constitutional Court (MK) was 10.7 percent, the Attorney General's Office was 8.5 percent, the Supreme Court was 6.9 percent and did not know or answer at 21.7 percent. Then the results of a survey on the level of trust in high state institutions, the President ranks first, followed by the National Armed Forces, National Police and Corruption Eradication Commission. Based on the survey results, the level of confidence in the President is 77.8 percent. Followed by the National Armed Forces at 76.3 percent. Furthermore, the National Police 66.8 percent and the Corruption Eradication Commission 64.3 percent. The fifth rank is the Constitutional Court, 59.3 percent, the Attorney General's Office, 58.6 percent, the Supreme Court 58.3 percent, the People's C 56.8 percent, the House of People's Representative 56.3 percent, and the Regional Representative 56.1 percent. "If we conducted this survey several years ago, especially before the revision of the Corruption Eradication Commission. Law, usually the Corruption Eradication Commission. was always numbered two or number 3, competing with the National Armed Forces. However, if we look at it now, even in several other survey institutions and some findings, the Police have succeeded in overtaking the Corruption Eradication Commission.." he said.
