Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police, Police Commissioner General Agus Andrianto, instructs his personnel to punish false information or hoax attempting to disturb the government's efforts in handling Covid-19. Agus Andrianto said that during the virtual meeting in Indonesian National Police Headquarter, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (20/7/2021). "If there are person-to-person violations, we will subject the person to restorative justice and Chief of Police's circulation letter. If it is related to disturbing the government in handling Covid, this action requires firm punishment. Do not let the public become confused by the untrue information spreading through the public", Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police said. Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police also said to all personnel to oversee and secure absorption of capital expenditures in provinces, regencies, and cities. According to him, on handling the Covid-19 pandemic, many provinces still hesitate to absorb budget and capital expenditures. The important part is that the national economy could run well, and the budget could be wholly absorbed well.
