Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police (Kapolda Sumut), Police Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak affirms that all stakeholders need to monitor all North Sumatra's tourism destinations seriously. In his explanation, Simanjuntak emphasizes that Indonesia Indonesian Armed Forces, Indonesian National Police, Covid-19 National Task Force, regional disaster management agency (BPBD), health agency (Dinkes), transportation agency (Dishub) and municipal police (Satpol PP) will strictly supervise visitors of tourism destination as a way to prevent the spread of Covid-19. "The Tourism Security checkpoints must follow strict health protocol to the visitors such as ensuring the use of mask, social distancing and avoiding the crowd. We have to prevent the new cluster of Covid-19. The personnel in charge must strictly apply the health protocol. If there is a violation, give sanction strictly," as mentioned by Simanjuntak.
