inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. Chief of Papua Regional Police, Police Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri, promises the parents of prospective students (Casis) of Woman Police who passed but were not elected during the recruitment of 2021 Class of Non-commissioned Officers (NCO) could enrol in January and July of 2022. Chief of Papua Regional Police promises to Casis not enrolled today that they would be guaranteed to enrol next year. "For Casis who cannot enrol, I promise them that they could enrol on January and July 2022. The departure of Casis would be arranged later by the committee. I affirm this decision because only the Chief of Papua Regional Police who decide this, not the committee or anyone. The Chief of Papua Regional Police made the decision", Chief of Regional Police said when meeting parents and Woman Police Casis in the Papua Regional Police Headquarter on Saturday (24/7). Chief of Regional Police ensures that he received all inputs and suggestions during the Police NCO recruitment process so that Papuan Police could have better human resources to be the country's servant. "Papua Regional Police needs many recruiters for at least the next three years and could be around 75% of personnel requirement total. Therefore, we need improvement time after time", he said. Chief of Regional Police hopes that Casis and their parents listen to the official statements from the Recruitment Committee, from the Chief of Regional Police or Regional Superintendent as the committee chairman of this recruitment. "There are some people who are at fault or inaccurate in providing information about the announcement, so it ignited protest. PCR test and vaccine are not the passing determinants. That is not the mechanism. We hope that in the future, information that comes not from the Police must be checked for its validity", the two-star general said. Mother Vero, one of the parents of Casis, thanked the Chief of Papua Regional Police for the explanations. "He provides the answers we want for Papuan children's future. Even though it is raining, he accepted us well", Mother Vero said. Chief of Regional Police addressed to Casis not departed today to stay healthy so they could enrol next year. "Every month, Casis would be asked to report to nearby Departmental Police for observation. Thank God. Thank you, Chief of Regional Police, who has made our children's future", she said. Last afternoon, hundreds of Casis, mostly women, were in front of the Papua Regional Police Headquarter to ask about their fate on the recruitment of the Casis of National Police Noken NCO. Besides demonstrating in the Papua Regional Police Headquarter, Casis and their parents also rallied to the house of Governor of Papua. This year, Papua Regional Police received extra 2,000 National Police Noken NCO quotas reserved for Papuan natives.
