The operations led by Police Second Inspector M. Sinurat conducted a Maintenance of Public Order and Security patrol to provide a sense of security to the community.
In carrying out patrols to maintain security and order for Dekai, Yalimo Regency, Commander of Mobile Brigade Yalimo Police, said the situation, for now, is slowly getting better. Some people who have fled to Wamena are slowly starting to return.
"There are several points that become our main centres in carrying out patrols, namely airports and offices."
He added, "For the current situation, it is still safe and conducive. However, nothing stands out, and some people who have fled to Wamena are gradually coming."
After the riots and the burning of state facilities and residents' housing carried out by supporters of the election candidate run mate 01 Erdi Dabi-Jhon Wilil on Tuesday (29/6), the situation of development and the economy declined. Some people are still traumatized by the incident.
Commander of Mobile Brigade Yalimo Police Hopes "So that together we pray that the situation in Papua Province. Especially in Dekai, Yalimo Regency can return to being conducive and safe so that development and existing economic developments can run well," he said.
