inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. Chief of West Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Suntana believes that West Java can achieve the target of 70 per cent of West Java residents being vaccinated by the end of the year. "Alhamdulillah, vaccination in the West Java Province is approaching 68 per cent of the 70 per cent target at the end of this year," he explained Friday (12/10/21). The target was launched by the Indonesian National Police through a precision vaccine program throughout West Java by targeting several elements of society, such as in Tasikmalaya. As a result, almost 70 per cent of Tasikmalaya residents have been vaccinated against COVID-19. "I ask all residents of the City and Tasik Regency to invite other residents who have not been vaccinated to the Community Health centres or other precision outlets to be vaccinated to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This applies in all areas of West Java during Christmas and New Year. What is certain, we recommend to the public to avoid crowds. If it is not essential to go to tourist attractions or other places, our advice is to stay at home. To anticipate the spread of COVID-19, "explained the Chief of Regional Police. Police Inspector-General Suntana also said that even though the vaccination rate was already high, the public must remain disciplined in implementing health protocols. Such as avoiding crowds, wearing masks, and washing hands. Business actors are asked to apply the PeduliLindungi application at their business locations. This ensures that visitors who come to their place of business have gone through the Covid-19 vaccination process. For the supply of vaccines, the West Java Regional Police received an injection of vaccine doses from Kima Farma Diagnostika. President Director of Kimia Farma Diagnostika, Ardhy Nugrahanto Wokas said his party had given 6,000 doses of Sinovac vaccine to the West Java Regional Police. Thus, the vaccination of West Java residents has almost reached 70 per cent. He is also committed to continuing to help the vaccination process for West Java residents. "We are working with the Chief of Regional Police to ensure that all vaccine targets are well served. We are also committed not only to vaccination but also to helping with basic necessities for the community," he said.
