This activity marks the beginning of the tourist ship operation which is expected to be a new attraction for tourism in South Kalimantan.

The Phinisi ship "Barito River Cruise" is one of the efforts to promote the potential of natural and cultural tourism along the Barito River. This ship offers a unique tourism experience by presenting enchanting river views and comfortable facilities for passengers.

Hermawan, in his official statement expressed his appreciation for the initiative of launching the new tourism attraction.

“The presence of the Phinisi Ship of ‘Barito River Cruise’ hopefully can boost the South Kalimantan tourism while also introducing our natural and cultural wealth to the world,” said Hermawan.

The Phinisi ship “Barito River Cruise” will operate regularly, offering various tour packages ranging from day tours to night trips with complete facilities. It is hoped that the presence of this ship can become a new icon of tourism in South Kalimantan.
