inp.polri.go.id - Jambi. Sub-Directorate I of Industry, Trade, and Investment of Jambi Regional Police inspects the Jambi Bulog warehouse to ensure the stock and availability of supplies ahead of Ramadan.

Directly led by the Head Unit of the sub-directorate, Police Senior Inspector F. Gultom inspected the warehouse with the government officials, accompanied by the Head Warehouse of Jambi Bulog.

The Special Criminal Investigation Director of Jambi Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Bambang Yugo Pamungkas says that the check was to ensure the stocks and price stability as Ramadan is coming in 16 days.

“We want to ensure that during Ramadan we will have the available stocks and be able to maintain price stability according to the Highest Retail Price,” says Bambang.

According to Bambang, the current stock for rice is 4,936,362 kilograms with details, Government Rice Reserves (CBP) 4,870,242 kg and Commercial Rice as much as 66,120.

He adds in his closing statement that the Highest Retail Price (HET) for 5 Kg SPHP rice is IDR 65,500.
