Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The House of Representatives (DPR) Ethics Council (MKD) has ruled that lawmakers Ahmad Sahroni, Eko Hendro Purnomo (popularly known as Eko Patrio), and Nafa Urbach violated the DPR code of ethics, extending their suspension from legislative duties. 

Meanwhile, Adies Kadir and celebrity-turned-politician Uya Kuya were reinstated after being cleared of wrongdoing.

“MKD declares Ahmad Sahroni guilty of unethical conduct for making an unwise public statement,” said MKD Deputy Chair Adang Daradjatun during the ruling at the DPR Complex in Jakarta on Wednesday (5/11/2025). 

He added that Sahroni will remain suspended for six months without salary, while Eko Patrio faces a four-month suspension and Nafa Urbach three months.

Uya Kuya, initially accused of unethical behavior after viral videos of him dancing surfaced online, was deemed a victim of misinformation. MKD said his reputation and parliamentary position must be restored. The rulings are binding and mark the end of the inquiry.
