inp.polri.go.id - The East Kalimantan Police (Polda Kaltim) commemorated the Momentum of the 76th Bhayangkara Day quite lively. This series of Bhayangkara Day commemorations was marked by a number of local wisdom competitions. Local wisdom competitions that were held includes tug of war competition, cooking competition, areca climbing competition, cracker eating competition, tumpeng decoration competition by Bhayangkari, and flower arrangement competition by policewomen. "The competitions that were held are aimed at raising the enthusiasm of all personnel, as well as treating the longing to show off, considering the two years of exicting event due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation," explained the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Kaltim, Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T. The purpose and objective of this competition is to strengthen the ties of friendship while preserving the culture of local wisdom. "Besides enlivening Bhayangkara Day, this competition is also an effort to maintain the culture of local wisdom, and is also important to do in maintaining traditional culture, as well as providing education because this activity is very good and this will continue to be encouraged," said Kabid Humas Polda Kaltim.
