Grand Commissioner Attendant Wendry Purbayanto, and Head of IT of Riau Regional Police Pol. Grand Commissioner Ari Wibowo, visited Siak Regency. They monitored the implementation of vaccination in the Siak Regency area and he implementation of micro scale Community Activity Restriction (PPKM) post. Rudy Kristantiyo as the team leader said the visit was to monitor the vaccination process if it was carried out safely and smoothly. He also advised to all the implementing officers and vaccination recipients to follow health protocols. “Besides to monitor to ensure the vaccination in Siak District run well and safely, we also want to encourage our friends at this region to keep up their spirit,” as explained by the Head of Operational Bureau of Riau Regional Police. The Head of Operational Bureau of Riau Regional Police said currently vaccination is one of the government’s effort to stop the spread of Covid-19 as there has not yet any medication for Covid-19. He also said, apart from vaccination, the most important thing to prevent Covid-19 is to obey health protocols. “Let’s together to spread the information to all Indonesian people to not be afraid of vaccinated. Vaccine can strengthen our antibody, and protect us from the spread of Covid-19. So it is a valuable investation for individual, that in later will bring impact to the community, to reduce the risk of Covid-19. However, though we have been vaccinated, we still need to follow health protocol, by applying 5M, using masker, social distancing, avoiding crowds, and reduce mobility and interaction,” he explained. After vaccinating, the Head of Operational Bureau of Riau Regional Police, Rudy also visited and monitored the implementation of micro scale Community Activity Restriction (PPKM) post in two sub-districts in Siak District. He was accompanied by Chief of Siak Resort Police Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Gunar Rahadiyanto, and Deputy Chief of Siak Resort Police, Police Commissioner Irnanda Oktora, along with all High Rank Officers of Siak Resort Police. “We see the implementation of PPKM Post in Siak District are running well. We also gave direction and advises to the officers so their performance will be much better,” he concluded the interview.
