Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police, Police Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak, together with Commander of the 1st/BB Military Region, Armed Forces Major General Hasanuddin, inspect several Emergency PPKM (Community Activities Restrictions Enforcement) insulation checkpoints in Medan city on Monday (19/07/21). Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police and Commander of the 1st/BB Military Region first visit insulation checkpoints on the border of Medan city and Deliserdang regency. Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police and Commander of the 1st/BB Military Region goes straight to check conditions of personnel from Police, Armed Forces, Local Transport Agency, and Municipal Police who conduct the Emergency PPKM tasks. Besides checking the personnel, the Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police and Commander of the 1st/BB Military Region also ensure that people with no essential purpose are not permitted to enter Medan. People were also subjected to random antigen tests in pushing back Covid-19 spread. After inspecting the border checkpoint, the Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police and Commander of the 1st/BB Military Region's entourage then continue the inspection to the insulation checkpoint of Medan city's Sisingamangaraja Street/Indogrosir. They check the insulation checkpoint to ensure the correct implementation of the Emergency PPKM, in which no people from out of the city without essential purposes could enter Medan. Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police and Commander of the 1st/BB Military Region also gives food, drink, and vitamins as a form of care to the personnel implementing Emergency PPKM so that their health and immune stays well. "The visit of Commander of the 1st/BB Military Region and I aim to ensure the good health of the officers conducting Emergency PPKM tasks in Medan", Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police, Police Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak, said. Chief of Sumatra Regional Police said that all personnel tasked to implement Emergency PPKM to reduce Covid-19 number in Medan are healthy. "It is indeed, with the visit from Commander of the 1st/BB Military Region and I will boost the spirit of the Armed Forces, Police, Local Transport Agency, Municipal Police personnel in conducting Emergency PPKM tasks from the morning, afternoon, to evening. I also give vitamins, foods, and drinks on every insulation checkpoint as a form of care towards the personnel", the two-star general concluded.
