Inp.polri.go.id – Toba. The North Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi, along with the Acting Governor Hassanudin, F1H2O (F1 Powerboat) Committee, Toba Regency Government, are patrolling around the F1 Powerboat venues on the first day of the event to review the situation.
The police chief states that the tournament is still ongoing on Sunday March 3rd, 2024, which is why the security situation and order must be maintained.
“The North Sumatra Regional Police continues to collaborate with Bukit Barisan Regional Military Command, National Search and Rescue Agency, and the government in providing security during the event of F1 Powerboat,” said Agung in Muliaraja Napitupulu Port, Balige City on Saturday (3/2/2024).
On the first day of the event, Agung stated that the F1 Powerboat was going lively as people enthusiastically came to Balige City to watch the prestigious international water race.
“The enthusiasm of these people are shown with how the hotel and lodgings in Balige City are fully booked,” said the police chief.
Meanwhile, the National Police Commission, Yusuf, gives his appreciation to the North Sumatra Regional Police and the ranks for being able in maintaining the security situation of the event.
“There were no significant disturbances today. All personnel have carried out their security duties accordingly,” conclude the police chief.
