Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Malaysian police have arrested five Indonesian citizens, aged 21 to 31, for allegedly stabbing a fellow Indonesian to death at an oil palm plantation in Paloh Village, Kluang District, Johor.
“On Saturday, around 9.36 am, Kluang Police Headquarters received information about a foreign national, in his 30s, brought to Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital and confirmed dead from a stab wound to the left chest,” said Kluang Police Chief ACP Bahrin Mohd Noh, as quoted by antaranews.com.
A special operations team from Johor Police Headquarters, alongside local investigators, later apprehended the suspects in the area. Authorities have not released the identity of the victim or suspects.
Initial investigations found no prior criminal records, and all five tested negative for drugs. The suspects are in custody for seven days starting 8 June 2025.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of Malaysia’s Penal Code, which carries the death penalty for murder.
