Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Police diverted traffic on the Sedyatmo Toll Road on Sunday (18/1/2026), after flooding disrupted access to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, prompting emergency traffic management to maintain mobility and safety.
“The water level reached up to 40 centimeters at Pluit Gate 3, so we diverted traffic to prevent congestion and accidents,” said Superintendent Dhanar Dono, the Head of the Metro Jaya Police Highway Patrol, as reported by antaranews.com
He confirmed flooding at Pluit Gate 3 and the Rawa Bokor exit caused by heavy overnight rainfall with diversions applied to specific lanes while others remained passable for large vehicles.
To accelerate recovery, state toll road operator PT Jasa Marga deployed seven water pumps and coordinated closely with officers on the ground. Motorists were advised to follow police instructions, remain orderly, and consider alternative routes such as JORR 2 toll road or public transportation, especially those heading to the airport.
