Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) and Indonesian sovereign wealth fund Danantara are intensifying collaboration to advance Indonesia’s economic diplomacy.
Deputy Foreign Minister Arrmanatha C. Nasir said on Monday (21/7/2025) that establishing regular coordination mechanisms to align investment priorities with diplomatic strategies.
“Danantara’s role aligns closely with Kemlu’s core functions in economic diplomacy, making synergy essential,” he said, as reported by antaranews.com.
The partnership will also uphold compliance with international norms and laws.
Arrmanatha conveyed Foreign Minister Sugiono’s directive for Indonesian diplomatic missions worldwide to actively support Danantara in identifying and realizing strategic investment opportunities abroad.
Danantara’s Chief Investment Officer Pandu Patria Sjahrir highlighted the importance of partnerships with international stakeholders and diplomatic missions as vital channels for knowledge, capital, and technology transfer.
Danantara serves as Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund, consolidating government investments to foster sustainable national economic growth with professional governance and global investor engagement.
