inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The investigators of Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of Metro Jaya Regional Police have revealed four cases of subsidized fuel oil and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) misuse.

The Special Criminal Investigation Director, Senior Superintendent Ade Safri Simanjuntak explains that his party had formed the Law Enforcement Sub-task Force for Subsidized Fuel Oil, LPG, and fertilizer misuse.

In the four cases uncovered by the sub-task force, the first case was committed by Dede Rian Purnama in South Tangerang for abusing and reselling the subsidized 3 Kg and 12 Kg LPG.

“Then, the second case was committed by Wawan Tisnawan in East Jakarta for abusing and reselling the subsidized 3 Kg and 12 Kg LPG,” says Ade in written statement on Friday (11/8/2024).

Next on the third case, the police have thwarted the same case committed by Syahrial Efendi Siregar in Ciputat, South Tangerang. At another place, police investigators found the misuse of subsidized fuel oil by eight suspects at a gas station in Tangerang.

“The abuse of fuel oil was carried out by modifying their gas tanks,” says Ade.
