inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Jakarta, Indonesia, strongly condemned the attacks launched by the United States (US) and Israel against its country.

"The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Indonesia firmly condemns these aggressive and criminal acts against Iran's territorial integrity," said a statement from the Iranian Embassy in Jakarta on Saturday (2/28/2026).

The US and the Zionist regime of Israel on Saturday morning (2/28/2026) launched attacks on civilian sites and vital infrastructure in Tehran, as well as several other cities, thereby violating the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The US and Israeli attacks on Iran violate Article 2, paragraph (4) of the UN Charter and constitute a clear act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran also views the actions of US and Israel as a serious threat to regional and international peace and security.

Responding to such aggression is Iran's legitimate right under Article 51 of the UN Charter, the statement further stated.

The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will exercise these rights to the fullest extent in order to defend the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran by giving a firm and strong response to the aggression of the Zionist regime of Israel and the US, the statement said.
