Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto has officially approved the launch of the Free Health Checkup (PKG) program nationwide on 10 February 2025.

Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin confirmed on Wednesday (5/2/2025) the decision after a meeting with President Prabowo at the Presidential Palace, highlighting PKG as a key initiative under the Red and WHite Cabinet’s healthcare agenda.

"This free health checkup program, decided by the President, will begin on 10 February 2025 at community health centers and clinics," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com..

The Free Health Checkups aims to benefit all age groups, covering Indonesia’s estimated 280 million residents. The program will be implemented across 10,000 community health centers and 15,000 clinics, with checkups tailored to age groups—from newborns to senior citizens—offering up to 19 types of medical screenings.

President Prabowo is expected to visit a health center to observe the program’s rollout firsthand.
