Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Commissioner General Ahmad Dofiri has been appointed as Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), INP Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Sandi Nugroho announced on Tuesday (12/1/12024).
According to a police transfer order Telegram ST/2517/XI/KEP./2024, he will succeed Agus Andrianto, who now serves as Minister of Immigration and Correctional Affairs in the Red and White Cabinet.
Previously, Dofiri held the position of the Chief of the INP Inspectorate General.
His position left vacant by his promotion will be filled by Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, formerly the Assistant for Human Resources.
A distinguished graduate of the Police Academy (Akpol) in 1989, General Ahmad Dofiri has held several key roles in the INP, including Yogyakarta Regional Police Chief in 2016, West Java Regional Police Chief in 2020, and the INP Head of Intelligence and Security in 2021.
