The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo instructed the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit, Commissioner General Wahyu Widada to immediately investigate the intimidation to Tempo media office. The incident was known to have been reported by the Chief Editor of Tempo to the Journalist Safety Commission (KKJ).

"Regarding the incident at the Tempo media, I have ordered the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit to carry out further investigations," explained General Sigit after the Ramadan safari at the Medan Grand Mosque on Saturday (3/22/2025).

General Sigit said that his staff would provide the best service to investigate the incident.

"I think all of us will certainly provide the best service to be able to follow up on this matter," said the Chief of Police.

It is known that the terror against Tempo journalists occurred on March 19 at 16:15 WIB where an unknown party sent the office with a severed head of a pig. The pig head was delivered specifically to a journalist named Cica who has been speaking out against the government.

Following the severed head of a pig incident, Tempo received another package of decapitated rat carcasses. Tempo's cleaning staff found the cardboard box containing the six rats on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 08.00 WIB.
