Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian government officially launched a national recruitment drive on Wednesday (15/4/2026) to hire 30,000 managers for the newly formed "Merah Putih" Village Cooperatives to strengthen the rural economy.
Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, Zulkifli Hasan, announced that the program targets graduates holding vocational D3 and D4 degrees or bachelor degrees under the age of 35 to oversee 30,000 cooperative units nationwide by July 2026. Successful candidates will initially serve under a two-year contract with state-owned enterprise PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara before transitioning fully to local cooperative management.
"The state calls upon its best sons and daughters to serve in villages and fishing communities to ensure this initiative drives national progress through superior human resources," he said, as cited by antaranews.com.
The selection process, coordinated by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises and supported by various ministries, remains open until 24 April 2026, via the official national portal. Officials guaranteed a transparent, fee-free recruitment process to identify professional talent capable of managing village-level food security and distribution.
