Government Soft Approach Successfully Rescue Captain Philip Safely
Pilot Philip was held hostage by KKB Egianus Kogoya in the Nduga region for 1.5 years. The government of the Republic of Indonesia has made various efforts to free Pilot Philip. As explained by the Head of 2024 Damai Cartenz Ops Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani, the task force has so far prioritized a soft approach rather than a hard approach.
