The Indonesian government held a meeting to discuss energy policy and economic stimulus led by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto in Jakarta on Friday (3/27/2026), as part of the government's efforts to maintain price stability and strengthen national economic growth.

According to a post on the Cabinet Secretariat's official Instagram account, the meeting was part of the government's strategic efforts to ensure energy availability, maintain public purchasing power, and encourage sustainable economic growth amidst global dynamics.

The meeting was also attended by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Investment and Downstream Development Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, and Deputy Minister of State Secretary Juri Ardiantoro.

The meeting discussed and agreed on government policy plans focusing on the energy sector and economic stimulus as key instruments for maintaining national stability.

The government ensures that Indonesia's economic stability remains maintained amidst global uncertainty due to geopolitical escalation and increasing financial market volatility.

Previously, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Spokesperson Haryo Limanseto stated that the government ensures that Indonesia's economic fundamentals remain strong and resilient, supported by several key factors.

He emphasized that Indonesia's macroeconomic stability remains maintained, with economic growth of 5.11 percent (yoy) in 2025 and inflation within the target range of 2.5 percent plus or minus 1 percent.

Going forward, the government is optimistic that Indonesia's economic growth can reach around 5.4 percent in 2026 by maintaining stability and continuing structural reforms, including industrial downstreaming, strengthening investment, and accelerating digitalization.
