Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said the government will review Indonesia’s export foreign exchange policy following its limited impact on boosting national reserves.

“The export forex policy will be reviewed again. The results haven’t significantly affected our foreign reserves, so Bank Indonesia may take another look,” he said on Monday (13/10/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

Minister Purbaway added that future policy directions will be determined after inter-ministerial discussions led by President Prabowo Subianto. The review follows a closed-door meeting at President Prabowo’s private residence on Sunday, attended by senior officials including Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and ministers overseeing finance, energy, and trade.
