President Prabowo Subianto joined over 20 world leaders in supporting the Gaza peace agreement signed by U.S. President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on Monday (13/10/2025).
“We are signing a document that contains many rules, regulations, and many other things. It’s very comprehensive,” President Trump said during the signing ceremony at the Sharm el-Sheikh International Convention Centre, as reported by antaranews.com.
President Prabowo was seated behind President al-Sisi and applauded as the historic deal was inked, marking the culmination of the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit on Gaza. President Trump praised al-Sisi, Erdogan, and Sheikh Tamim for their roles in the negotiations and later thanked President Prabowo, acknowledging his contribution to the peace process.
Leaders from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia attended the summit, signaling broad international backing for the long-awaited Gaza peace accord.
