Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has confirmed that Indonesia's Hajj quota this year has been met, cautioning against deceptive offers for non-Hajj visa travel.

Anna Hasbie, the ministry spokesperson, emphasized on Sunday (5/5/2024) vigilance amid the proliferation of non-Hajj visa offers, especially as the Saudi government tightens visa regulations.

Indonesia's Hajj quota, totaling 241,000 slots, comprises 213,320 regular and 27,680 special allocations, according to antaranews.com.

Indonesian citizens holding Hajj mujmalah visas are required to depart through Special Hajj Worship Organizers (PIHK), as mandated by the Law on Regular Hajj Worship Organizing.

Anna urged caution, highlighting the risks of deportation and a 10-year entry ban for non-compliant pilgrims.

Visa issuance is underway for over 195,000 regular Hajj pilgrims and special Hajj pilgrims. Departures are scheduled for 12 May 2024, for regular Hajj pilgrims and 23 May 2024, for special Hajj pilgrims.
