inp.polri.go.id - East OKU. The Head of the National Food Agency (Bapanas) Arief Prasetyo Adi appreciated the contribution of the Indonesian National Police (INP) in the government's food program. 

He also said he was satisfied with everything the Police had implemented in the food program.

"We also want to thank the Chief of Police for their contribution from planting corn, establishing SPPG, the Affordable Food Movement (GPM), SPHP, everything was done very well," said the Head of Bapanas while attending the simultaneous corn harvest in the third quarter in East OKU, Saturday (9/27/2025).

The Chief of INP, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and his staff were also given a warm applause by the Head of Bapanas.

It is known that the Chief of Police led the third quarter corn harvest. 

"In the third quarter, we will be harvesting corn on 166,512 hectares of land, with an estimated yield of 751,442 tons, which will last until the end of September," explained General Sigit in his remarks in East Oku, South Sumatra, Saturday (9/27/2025).

Meanwhile, Sigit continued, throughout Indonesia, the harvest is being carried out today on 1,288 hectares with an expected yield of 7,153 tons.

"Specifically today, we will send 1,765 tons of corn to be absorbed by Bulog, and specifically in South Sumatra Province, 614 tons, and 100 tons from Oku will be prioritized for Bulog," said INP Chief.

General Sigit added that INP will continue to strengthen the community corn farming ecosystem. The police also prioritizes cooperation as a leading sector to unite interests from upstream to downstream.
