Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesia-Brazil Business Forum (FBIB) has resulted in five major memorandums of understanding (MoUs) valued at $2.65 billion, strengthening business ties between the two countries.
Hashim S. Djojohadikusumo, the Supervisory Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin), expressed support for the agreements, saying, "Indonesia is open for business," underlining the potential for economic growth.
The MoUs span key sectors such as renewable energy, agriculture, and technology, marking a significant step in Indonesia-Brazil cooperation.
Kadin Chairman Anindya Bakrie called the agreements a "new chapter in our collaboration," focusing on vital industries like energy and agriculture, according to antaranews.com.
Held alongside the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, the forum highlighted shared commitments to sustainable development.

Trade between the two nations has been growing steadily, with Indonesia exporting $1.91 billion in goods to Brazil in 2022.
