The ranking showed Indonesia’s overall performance throughout the year, including international matches and regional competitions, according to antaranews.com
According to FIFA data, “Indonesia’s position has remained unchanged since the last update in October,” marking consistency but also highlighting the challenge of breaking into a higher tier globally.
In 2025, Indonesia’s highest ranking was 118th in July this year, while its lowest was 123rd in April. Within Southeast Asia, Indonesia ranks fourth, behind Thailand at 96th, Vietnam at 107th, and Malaysia at 121st. The Garuda squad stays ahead of several regional neighbors, including the Philippines, Singapore, and Myanmar.
Globally, the top 10 rankings remain unchanged, led by Spain, followed by Argentina and France.
