Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi says Indonesia Hospital in Gaza is threatened with shutdown due to low fuel supply.
“There is an information that we received from Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza who reports the importance of fuel supply to treat and safe the victims who are being treated at the hospital,” says Retno in a press conference on Wednesday (11/1/2023).
Quoted from detiknews, Retno Marsudi also explains according to the reports from Palestinian Health Ministry, other than Indonesia Hospital, there are others who are threatened with shutdown.
“On that release, it was stated there is only few hours before the main generators of the two hospital, Al Syifa Medical Complex Hospital and Indonesia Hospital to experience total shut down if there is no fuel supply,” she adds.
She has also communicated with MER-C volunteers at the location. She reveals that Indonesia Hospital have only two hours left.
“With the current situation, we intensify communication for the fuel to be able to enter Gaza for humanitarian reasons, once again, for humanitarian reason,” she firmly reiterated.
