Indonesia-Saudi Arabia Shares One Commitment in Resolving Palestine-Israel Conflict

Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian Vice President Ma’ruf Amin says Indonesia and Saudi Arabia have the same conviction in resolving the Palestine-Israel conflict.

“Indonesia appreciates the joint effort with Saudi Arabia in the framework of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OKI) to support in resolving the conflict of Palestine-Israel,” said VP Ma’ruf Amin on Wednesday (1/2024).

Furthermore, the VP also stressed that Indonesia has pushed all parties to stop the violence and ensures that the humanitarian aid is well received by the Palestinians.

Responding to the matter, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Tawfiq bin Fauzan Al-Rabiah, emphasized that the Saudi Arabian Government is in line with the Indonesian Government's commitment to resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“Regarding the Palestine issue, we also agreed with your excellence that what had happened there is a blatant violation from the colonial country, which is Israel,” said Minister Tawfiq.

Saudi Arabia also appreciates the Indonesian stance who have wholeheartedly stood with the Palestinians.

Moreover, Tawfiq also remarks that Saudi Arabia's commitment in supporting Palestine is also strong. The Kingdom through, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, has held a Summit back in October in Riyadh and the Indonesian President also attended the meeting to resolve the conflict with the Muslim countries.
