Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo expected that the testimony of Benny Rhamdani, the Head of the Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Agency (BP2MI) would expedite the investigation into an online gambling case. 

Benny is expected to shed light on the identity of an individual known only as T, who is allegedly behind these operations, he said, as reported by antaranews.com.

“We are counting on his testimony to help us quickly resolve the case involving the online gambling issue he mentioned,” Chief Sigit said on Saturday (27/7/2024).

Benny is scheduled to be questioned as a witness on Monday. He had previously named someone, identified as T, as the key figure controlling online gambling activities from Cambodia.

Benny also discussed T’s involvement in online scams during a restricted meeting at the Presidential Palace.
