Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The governments of Indonesia and the United Kingdom have agreed to form a partnership in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), digital innovation, and healthcare.
This partnership was outlined in a joint statement issued during the meeting between President Prabowo Subianto and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in the UK on Thursday (21/11/2024), as reported by antaranews.com.
“We recognize the need for closer collaboration in AI and digital innovation,” the statement read.
The UK also supported the establishment of the first UK university facilities in Indonesia this year, aiming to enhance the quality of education and strengthen academic ties between the two nations.
Furthermore, both countries agreed to deepen their collaboration in healthcare by supporting initiatives focused on improving health education, developing specialist clinical skills, and advancing medical research and innovation.
