Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) RI prioritize Planning Based on Data (PBD) as tools in improving education quality to be more effective, continuous, and directive.
“The process will be based on data that had been gathered from education report, which will be the main source in determining priorities in tuning and refining the education on each region,” said the Acting Director of High School of Kemendikbudristek, Winner Jihad Akbar in Jakarta, Monday (9/18/2023).
PBD is a series of steps in improving educational quality in accordance to its current needs from every regional educational institution. The steps will use various information, including
national assessment data results.
Meanwhile, education report platform contains data that includes information from regional education report and educational report at all levels starting from Playground, Elementary School, Junior High School, Senior High School, and Special Education School.
The education report can be used by each level of education and education office in identifying achievements and root problems including trends that could affect student performance.
Kemendikbudristek also believes that PBD could potentially improve transparency, accountability, efficiency, and provides stronger basis for decision making in improving educational system.
“Three steps of PBD through education report is by exploring the dashboard in education report platform, download the PBD recommendation and implement it,” said Winner.
In implementing PBD, Winner has coordinated with related parties by fully maximizing the use of education report.
