Inp.polri.go.id - Pekanbaru. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated 80 "Merah Putih Presisi" bridges across Riau Province on Wednesday (8/7/2026).
Executed under the directives of President Prabowo Subianto, the massive infrastructure development project aims to enhance rural connectivity, directly easing daily mobility for school children and remote village communities while stimulating regional economic growth.
"We will continue to work in accordance with the President's directives to pay attention to connectivity, especially for rural communities," Chief Sigit said. "We hope this helps the public improve their overall welfare."
The inauguration brings the total number of police-constructed bridges in Riau to 110, contributing to a broader national tally of 807 bridges built across various Indonesian provinces. Chief Sigit said that these joint infrastructural efforts are essential for strengthening community synergy and driving localized economic development to support the "Golden Indonesia 2045" vision.
