INP Chief Leads Swearing-In of High-Ranking Officers

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police Chief (INP) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo presided over the swearing-in ceremony for several high-ranking officers at the INP Headquarters in Jakarta on Friday (14/3/2025).

INP Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Sandi Nugroho emphasized that the personnel changes are part of the police force’s strategic efforts to maintain professionalism and institutional responsiveness.

"This rotation is a career development measure to ensure a dynamic and effective organization. Each newly appointed official is expected to quickly adapt and continue ongoing programs," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Among the key appointments, Inspector General Anwar now serves as Assistant INP Chief of Police for Human Resources, while Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan takes over as Assistant INP Chief for Logistics from Inspector General Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono.

The reshuffle also involved Brigadier General Anggoro Sukartono as the Yogyakarta Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Rusdi Hartono as the South Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, and Inspector General Krisno Halomoan Siregar assumes the Jambi Police Regional Chief position.

Other leadership changes include, Inspector General Waris Agono as North Maluku Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Hery Herjawan as Riau Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Iwan Kurniawan as Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief and Inspector General Nanang Avianto as East Java Regional Police Chief.

In total, the National Police has reassigned 1,255 officers across high- and mid-ranking positions.
