Inp.polri.go.id - Hong Kong. The Indonesian National Police (INP) and the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) conducted a joint event on cross-border collaboration to combat crimes against women and children at the HKPF headquarters on Tuesday.
The INP’s Director of Protection of Women and Children Brigadier General Nurul Azizah highlighted the importance of integrated legal protection.
“We combine law enforcement with prevention and community empowerment, including our national movement Rise n Speak or Berani Bicara, Selamatkan Sesama,” she said, as quoted by antaranews.com
HKPF shared protocols such as recorded interviews by trained officers, same-gender investigators, and one-stop service simulations. Both parties praised each other's innovations and expressed commitment to deeper cooperation.
“This meeting strengthens our humanitarian protection efforts across jurisdictions,” Chief Nurul added.
HKPF’s Yvonne Tam welcomed the partnership, stressing the urgency of joint strategies to safeguard vulnerable groups.
