inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Horse Troops successfully carried out the protocol duties in welcoming the state visit of Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, to the Bogor Palace on February 12, 2025.

The Chief of the Horse Troops, Inspector General Mulia Hasudungan Ritonga expressed his highest gratitude to President Prabowo who has given his greatest attention to his horse unit.

He also thanked the president for the opportunity in showing the best performance of his unit to the people.

“We were working together to make this duty a success. The horse unit not only serves as a symbol of honor and tradition, but also demonstrates professionalism and preparation of Indonesia in welcoming state official guests,” remarked Ritonga.

Ritonga explains that his horse units are used for welcoming ceremonies for state guests, giving a grand and solemn impression. This troop is on duty in state ceremonies, parades, or protocol activities that require the presence of cavalry.

With a total of 74 horses involved, the welcoming of the Turkish President was carried out on a large scale and with great solemnity. This shows the importance of this visit for bilateral relations between Indonesia and Turkey and Indonesia's commitment to giving the highest respect to state guests.
