Inp.polri.go.id - Yogyakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) and the Muhammadiyah Youth Central Board signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in agricultural development, aiming to support national food security efforts.
“The MoU has just been signed to enhance collaboration in agriculture between the INP and Muhammadiyah Youth,” said INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo during the 2025 Muhammadiyah Youth Command rally in Sleman, Yogyakarta, on Sunday (20/7/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.
The cooperation is expected to improve efficiency, productivity, and crop quality, while contributing to farmer welfare. It aligns with Polri’s ongoing food security program, which targets planting corn on one million hectares of land by the end of 2025.
Chief Sigit emphasized that this partnership supports President Prabowo Subianto’s Astacita mission, particularly the goal of achieving national food resilience through domestic agricultural optimization.
The event, held at Tridadi Stadium, also marked the Grand Roll Call of Muhammadiyah Youth’s Command force, gathering 23,450 participants.
