Inp.polri.go.id - Batam.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) Inspectorate of General Supervision conducted a monitoring and evaluation visit at Barelang Sub-regional Police to assess firearms management and food security initiatives in the region.

“This inspection ensures firearms are properly managed and aligns with national priorities,” said Superintendent Fadli Agus, the Barelang Police Deputy Chief. He accompanied General Supervision Inspectorate team, led by Senior Superintendent Sugeng Utomo and Senior Superintendent Junaidi Nur.

The visit included discussions on challenges, achievements, and plans for firearms oversight and food security programs. Data collected will be analyzed by the INP Headquarters to inform future improvements.

The team also visited a 5-hectare agricultural site in Kampung Baru, part of the INP's "One Million Hectares of Corn" initiative. The site grows corn, spinach, kale, and chili, contributing to local food security and community welfare.
