inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho emphasized the Corps' commitment to accelerating public services through the revitalization of digital applications such as SIGNAL, SINAR, E-BPKB, ERI, and the International Driving License (SIM). This was conveyed during a press conference at the Bandung Sub-regional City Police Headquarters, West Java, on Wednesday (10/22/2025).
Agus explained that the applications were designed to shorten queues and simplify vehicle administration. Everything from driver's license (SIM) renewals and tax payments to vehicle registration and the issuance of an international driving license (SIM) can be done online.
"You can use SIGNAL to speed things up, avoid queues, and avoid delays in administrative procedures. There's also the SIGNAL application for paying taxes and SINAR application for obtaining a driving license," he said.
He added that the media plays a crucial role in helping to publicize these services. He believes many people are unaware of the application's functionality and ease of use.
"I respectfully entrust the media to disseminate this information, as this application has not been fully utilized and is not yet optimal. Therefore, I am here to revitalize these systems to make things easier for the public," he emphasized.
Furthermore, Agus emphasized that the primary goal of digitizing services is to create an orderly culture in traffic. He hopes that the public will become more aware of the importance of road safety without having to rely on the presence of traffic police.
