inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps Chief, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi, the Executive Director of Jasa Raharja Rivan Purwantono, and the ASDP Executive Director Heru Widodo are going together to review the first day of the 2025 Ketupat Operation.
Minister Dudy arrived at the Rest Area KM 13.5A of Jakarta-Merak Toll Road on Sunday (3/23/2025) night. There, he, Agus, Raharja, and Heru immediately went to the Merak Prot area.
The Merak Port area is known for its vulnerability to traffic jams in every year’s Eid Homecoming flow. Agus says the joint inspection was to ensure a safe, smooth, and orderly homecoming flow.
“We want to make sure in its first day of operation, everything is going smoothly where people can enjoy their travel comfortably,” says Agus on Monday (3/24/2025).
Agus adds that the entourage also continue their inspection until dawn to Bandar Bakau Jaya Port.
“At 03.00 am we are still inspecting the situation at Bandar Bakau Jaya Port in Banten,” says Agus.
The situation at Bandar Bakau Jaya Port is also monitored smoothly and under control. The operation of ships per day, which was originally 6 ships, was increased to 10 ships per day.
