Inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. Indonesian National Police (INP) Head of Public Relations Inspector General Sandi Nugroho urged regional police leaders to strengthen public communication and improve access to information as part of efforts to build public trust.
Speaking at the 2025 Apel Kasatwil leadership assembly in Cikeas, Bogor, on Tuesday (25/11/2025), he called on police chiefs across the country to ensure that the public can clearly see the work being done by the force.
“Do not hide the good work of police officers. What our members do every day must reach the public because that is proof that the police are present and working for society,” Chief Sandi said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
He explained that official channels such as the Integrated Media Management System (SPIT), Media Hub, and Policetube now document police performance transparently. He also expected all regional units to strengthen public information services by empowering information and documentation officers and responding rapidly to online hoaxes, stressing that narrative control must begin before action, during action, and after action.
