Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia National Police (INP)’s badminton team won four gold and two silver medals at the Southeast Asia Police Badminton Championship 2026 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia,, held from 26–31 May 2026, which brought together police athletes from across the region.
“This is the result of hard work and dedication. We are proud to represent Indonesia and Polri,” said Superintendent Yanto Mulyanto, the team official.
The INP dominated the finals in multiple categories. In men’s singles, Second Brigadier Gilang Ramadhan defeated teammate Second Brigadier Muh Asqar Harianto, securing gold and silver for Indonesia.
In men’s doubles, two Indonesian pairs met in the final, with Second Brigadier Robby and Second Brigadier Asqar taking gold over Second Brigadier Gilang and Second Brigadier Kleopas. The mixed doubles final saw Second Brigadier Desima and Second Brigadier Kleopas defeat Vietnam’s team for another gold.
The team also won gold in the team event, overcoming host Cambodia.
