Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The Indonesian National Police (INP), in cooperation with WWF Indonesia and the Ministry of Forestry, has dispatched dozens of tons of humanitarian aid to communities affected by floods and landslides in Aceh, officials said on Saturday (13/12/2025).
The logistics were flown from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, to Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, Banda Aceh.
“This humanitarian assistance is part of the INP’s commitment to support disaster victims through cross-sector collaboration,” said Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Chief Senior Superintendent Ronald Sipayung, as cited by antaranews.com.
The aid, consisting mainly of food and basic necessities, was transported by air using Rimbun Air cargo services. The INP recorded that, to date, around 160 tons of logistics have been delivered to Aceh through nine flights. The Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police serves as the information center to ensure transparency in distribution.
WWF Indonesia contributed 22.5 tons in its first shipment and praised the joint effort. The Chief Ronald also urged the public to report any obstacles in aid distribution via the 110 call center.
