Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A Police AW169 helicopter (P-3303) delivered 348 kilograms of relief supplies on Friday (5/12/2025) to support emergency response efforts in flood-hit Aceh Tamiang, Aceh.
The aircraft departed from Aceh Regional Police headquarters as part of the Central Kalimantan Police enforcement mission backing Aceh Police.
“This rapid air-delivery operation ensures that essential needs reach affected residents without delay,” INP Public Relations Division’s Head of Public Information Bureau Brigadier General. Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko said, as reported by antaranews.com
The flight was led by Assistant Senior Inspector Sya’ban with a four-member crew and three additional personnel from Public Relations, Mobile Brigade (Brimob) medical services, and ICT units. Supplies included communication equipment, clean water, medical kits, food items, and essential operational materials. The drop point was the Islamic Center in Aceh Tamiang.
Chief Trunoyudo said the Indonesian National Police (INP) will continue monitoring conditions and deploy more personnel or logistics if required to accelerate community recovery.
