Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. South Jakarta Immigration Office deported a Chinese citizen identified as AS on Friday (5/12/2025) after he violated his stay permit and was confirmed to be on his home country’s wanted list.
The operation involved intelligence monitoring, field enforcement teams, and MRT security personnel.
“We conducted intensive surveillance to ensure his apprehension after he attempted to flee by car and through an MRT station,” said South Jakarta Immigration Chief Bugie Kurniawan, as cite by antaranews.com.
Suspect AS was detained on 21 November 2025 after refusing to cooperate during immigration checks. Authorities found he failed to report his presence through the Foreigners Surveillance Application (APOA) and allegedly concealed one of his two properties, strengthening the legal basis for his deportation.
Immigration officials added him to Indonesia’s travel ban list to prevent re-entry.
