Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Jakarta Provincial Government ensures that the location for the follow-up voting is free from flood threats. “We have checked the place. We also asked from North Jakarta Water Resource Office to prepare mobile water vacuum machine,” said the Acting Governor of Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono quoted from Antara on Friday (2/16/2024). According to him, back on February 14th, on voting day, there are several polling stations who were forced to cancel the voting due to flood. They were unable to held the voting due to the ballots damaged by flood. “The votings, such as in Sunter could not be held due to damaged ballots. They were unable to continue the voting process and we scheduled for follow-up voting on Sunday,” said Heru. In anticipating the flood disaster, Heru prepared mobile water vacuum machine at each location and hoped that the voting process could go smoothly without any issues. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
